How to Install grokevt software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

grokevt software package provides scripts for reading Microsoft Windows event log files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install grokevt

grokevt is installed in your system.

Make ensure the grokevt package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep grokevt *

You will get with grokevt package name, version, architecture and description in a table
